What makes a good film poster is lots of COLOUR...Your audience must be attracted to a colour full piece of work that has little writing but alot of description through images, show images or snapshots of the Film and have a Big title...the images should show the signs of the genre such as blood, shows that the film genre is horror.
The Text included in the poster must be Bold because if a person was to see the poster from far away, it should be hard to see ... for example: If a person was at a tub station and the poster was on the wall , he must be able to see the text or at least the title of the film.

My Film Idea-First Draft
Name- Z World
Genre Of Film-Horror.
Age Rating-15.
Target Audience-Teenagers,male and people who are energetic and love thrills. people who love ZOMBIES!
Location-A School, a abandoned house, and a forest! All because they are all Scary places (especially School!) and all based in Kent, England or Somewhere in Ireland.
Characters-
The main character is a young boy Jimmy Carroll ,16 who is in the middle of a zombie Apocalypse and has to kill his best friend.He survives has to survive 30 days until help will come, he is with his little brother...
Thomas Carroll-Brother to jimmy and josh...Hero!
Josh Carroll ,5 who is Jimmy's most favorite thing in the world and would defend Josh till death and is the brother of Jimmy, and is the son of Micheal Carroll and Michelle Carroll and is the brother to Sally Carroll who is turned into a walker (zombie) in the beggining of the film.
Arron Thompson is Jimmy's best friend and dies in the ending of the film.
Sandy Crab- Neighbour to the Carroll family she's really mean and so stuck up that she would do anything to survive.
Beginning - Starts with jimmy at school and shows the characters through jimmy's life.
And he returns home and finds his sister Sally sleeping (dead) on the sofa and looks really pale...So Jimmy and Arron walk in the house and jimmy tells Arron to wake her up as he puts the Xbox on... Suddenly you hear Arron screaming like a little girl, he ignores it as he thinks that he is waking up Sally by screaming so Jimmy Shouts 'cmon Arron i want to play FIFA!' 3 minutes later he walks down stairs and Sees Arron Blood all on the sofa. No sign of them both so He goes upstairs as he is in Shock and finds Josh behind him saying wheres 'Mummy'! They both go down stairs and see sally in the garden so Jimmy goes out there to see if she seen Arron, But ignores him and Jimmy turns her around and sees white eyes ( A symptom of the Zombie Disease) And Sally tries to bite Josh so Jimmy pushes her to the ground, picks up josh,Runs into the house and locks the Garden door, he turns around and sees jimmy and he tries to bite Josh so jimmy Pushes josh to the floor , grabs a kitchen Knife and slices Arron's Arm off, Grabs josh and Runs...
Middle-
Day 1 -Jimmy and Josh find a place to hide in the school Gym and lock the door.
Day 1-Jimmy and Josh find Thomas with a Hand gun and tell him to stay in the Gym with josh.
Day 2-Jimmy goes and gets supplies from the local shop...kills Every Zombie in his way.
Day 6-Jimmy finds Micheal and Michelle and a Relative of Jimmy's, Daniel, Takes them to the Gym and Tom ,Jimmy , And Dan go to a supermarket to find bedding.
Day 9- Jimmy sees Arron again but don't have it in him to kill him
Day11- The Gym is breached and Micheal is bitten by protected Michelle.
Day 11- They find another place in a abandoned Hotel and Stay there but there is Difficulties...
Day 12-Thomas and Dan Use Micheal's car to goto the shop but its over crowded by zombies so they go to a another one...Seems empty but someone shoots Dan.

What I have learned in the first unit of Media GCSE
I have learnt how to take single part from one image and put in it my own!
I also learnt how to remove wrinkles and spots from a image of a person and that anything and most things in the media is Edited which means it may not be the EXACT image taken...I'm Smart :p
