Two good analysis. You now need to work on adding in more detail and thinking about things in a deeper fashion. For example:
* What does the word "pedigree" mean? what impression does that give people about how good the food is?
* Why is having humour in the Pedigree advert important? How does it help sell the product?
The second advert is particularly hard to analyse as it is for a cause rather than a product. We might have to redo this at a later date with a different advert. But things you COULD have mentioned were:
* Red, White and Blue colours are associated witht he US flag.. why is this clever?
* Why do they include direct address to the audience (using the word YOU) in the advert?
* Why is the man's face serious? What does this suggest about the army / war?
